Hello Friends!

My name is Kelley Alba. I am a freelance professional hairstylist and makeup artist based in Austin, Texas. I have been active in the industry for over 15 years now. My passion for the visual arts began at childhood where my favorite hobbies were painting, drawing, and crafting. After high school, one of my family members suggested that I attend beauty school to gain a new skill in a highly demanding field that is fun, creative, and artistic. In 2010, I enrolled at Avenue Five Institute in Austin, Texas where I received my cosmetology license a year later with a high GPA and student awards. After graduation, I went straight into the bridal industry where I focused on hairstyling and beauty makeup. A few years later, I expanded my craft by entering into the entertainment industry where I learned special effects makeup, wigs, and more. I believe in continuing education and keeping up with the latest beauty trends and inventions. I love what I do, meeting new people, and challenging myself to be the best artist I can be. Whether I am working backstage on a show or doing a one-on-one lesson at someone's home, every project is special to me.
